Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by Jason M — 15 Jul 2009
One of the best animated movies I've ever seen (and its a documentary about the First Lebanon Civil War). It manages to be both gorgeous and haunting at the same time. The animation style is extremely unique and easy to get sucked into.
It also has an amazing soundtrack that makes the movie even more watchable. The only flaw is that the ending seems too sudden and out-of-place, although it is very powerful. I'm still giving it Five Stars.
