Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by Lani S — 02 Aug 2009

This is the kind of film that left me feeling a bit like the wind had been knocked out of me. The subject matter is brutal and uncompromising, and is presented vividly with the beautifully and carefully crafted animation.

One of the unique aspects of this film is the fact that the focus is less on the actual events that took place, and more about the ways people cope with trauma. I strongly recommend this film.
