Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by Paco R — 02 Aug 2009
A superb masterpiece, groundbreaking animation and impressive narrative. Not an easy film to endure, but certainly a work of art that takes you right to the core of war's horrors and their heirloom upon entire generations.
Crude yet highly aesthetic, you'll be waltzing in anguish and awe throughout this historic film. This is what cinema was invented for... shame the rest of the world will be watching 'Transformers' instead.
