Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by Max L — 14 Oct 2009
An otherwise boring full of talking heads documentary about the 1982 Lebanon War is highly stylized by the director, Ari Folman. The animated documentary beautifully depicts a director's voyage to his deep memory hole, but it turns out, very disappointingly, still "propaganda".
When a movie is about a controversy with multiple players and the movie is funded by only one player, it is fishy.
