Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by James B — 13 Dec 2009
Very different take on a war film. It shows the horrors of war and the pyschological affects it has on it's soldiers. The animation is really cool and rather unique. Within the first ten minutes I thought it was going to be rather pretentious but it turned out to be a great working on a horrible conflict.
The images at the end of the film are rather disturbing and hits home the reality of what happens in conflict.
