Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by Walter C — 30 Mar 2010
A filmmaker can't remember what he did during the Lebanon War so he seeks out people who were with him at the time to see what they can remember.
The whole movie except for the last minute is animated which makes it feel like you are watching a movie instead of a documentary. The animation is beautiful and when they switch to documentary footage during the last minute, nothing has looked so real.
