Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by Luck D K — 29 Aug 2010
The film is as sad as the drawings are done by a great artist and you see the realism of war in Israel is very upsetting. The flashbacks might be due more detailed and in this dialogue are repeated even if the main character seeks the answer, but they could have them shorter.
The soundtrack fits well with the theme of war. Rare are African films that have marked France and he could have the Gold, but at least he won a Cesar. Writer / director is not well known, so it does not really accustomed to this kind of film and he managed to stand tall and could get help on the script.
