Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by Brad S — 28 Dec 2010
This is a tremendous, tremendous film. An animated documentary that examines the war in Lebanon in the 1980's that uses its unique visual style to thoroughly examine the tragic effects of war. The animation is outstanding and it really helps to provide an interesting perspective into the tragic events going on in the film.
The final haunting images are among the most harrowing I have every seen on film. This film is highly recommended, I would say it is a must-see!
