Review of Waltz with Bashir (2008) by Scott R — 27 Aug 2011
A visually striking animated film about the conflict of Israel and Lebanon. I thought the first parts of this were very interesting, though I felt like the end devolved into more of animating just interviews with people, where I felt that the animation was more interesting and striking where the persons words functioned as a narration to an animation depicting their description.
