This is the Disney story that so few have heard, but everyone needs to hear! The true story of struggle for elusive success and the pain of failure. The film beautifully portrays this uplifting and encouraging story of the ultimate American Dream.

Yes, Disney was and is a global success...but not before immense failure, from which he pulled himself up and persevered. Thomas Ian Nicholas's performance captures the naive and overly-optimistic Disney of his youth.

The rest of the cast does a tremendous job. There is meticulous detail to period costuming, and though much of the movie is somber, due to the repeated trials and failures Disney experienced, there's the right amount of levity, romance, and ultimately inspiration.

I highly recommend this movie. Not just to fans of Disney, but to anyone needing an encouraging story.
