I must admit, I had deep misgivings before seeing this movie, despite being a fan of all of Aardman's work. As I had watched all the shorts as a nipper, I didn't think it would work as a feature length movie.
Apparently I was wrong. What works most of all is it's inimitable little town Britishness comedy which shines throughout the movie.
