Review of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010) by Alex C — 31 Mar 2011
Not bad visually, but it's substantially weak, regarding of the subject it's taking on. Aside from that, the film is delivered with a fine 're-introduction' of the characters (though it's only Gordon and Bud who shows up).
The script, the dialogues, they are significantly weak compared to other films on the same subject. Perhaps, the only thing that gives itself three stars is the performance of LaBeouf. The 'Sam' kid looks more mature than ever here, the first time I ever considered him 'an actor'.
Contrarily, Brolin's acting seems unfit to any big shot of Wall Street I've seen in the real world, except he was considering himself Bruce Wayne of NYC.
