Review of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010) by Ralou D — 15 Oct 2011
It's a movie that does snappy dialogue better than plot development. The story is either overly complex or just convoluted, I'm not sure which. All I know is that I spent much of the movie trying to keep track of the numbers and the storyline could have been streamlined to get to the same conclusion.
A conclusion that is both predictable, yet satisfying. In terms of its execution, Oliver Stone gets a little too cutsie with the directing at times, but the acting is good (especially when Michael Douglas slicks back his hair and gets into full Gekko mode).
