Wallstreet is probably my favorite Oliver Stone film and is up there when it comes to my favorite movies of all time so this movie had big shoes to fill. Although I enjoyed Wall Street Money Never Sleeps, it didn't even come close to the original.
It had a totally different pace and vibe (the same could be said for Ironman 2 compared to the original Ironman movie.) I don't understand why filmmakers don't watch the first movies before writting or filming to see what went right the first time out.
Great storytelling always wins me over. Simplicity works better than most complex plots. That's my opinion and I am sticking to it.
