Review of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010) by Buggy B — 30 Dec 2013
Big names, big budget, big director and b-o-r-i-n-g as hell. Tried to get through this but in 45 minutes, as compelling as the performances were from Frank Langella, Michael Douglas, Susan Sarandon and Shia LaBeouf I just didn't care, and for the most part had no idea what they were talking about where "the big" money was concerned. May try it again someday. DNF 07.13.
"Shia LeBeouf plays Jacob Moore, an ambitious young investment banker who discovers that greed is still the name of the game when he forges a fragile alliance with former Wall Street hotshot Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) recently released from prison but still disgraced by his peers. Gekko works his future son-in-law, when he sees an opportunity to take down a Wall Street enemy and rebuild his empire in director Oliver stones topical sequel.".
