Shia LeBeouf is just not a good actor. He's great for films like Transformers, but lacks any sense of depth and seems out of place in this film. Michael Douglas you can forgive; there are not films around for him to star in today and The Expendables just would not be a good fit for him.
If you're bored or feel like some 80's nostalgia, give it a watch.
