Review of Wall Street (1987) by Adam B — 25 Mar 2010
Slick, cool and interesting. A hugely enjoyable ride, with a great story and serious questions to ask, made even better by a fantastic cast all portraying the characters so perfectly that it looks almost effortless.
It is easy to see why Michael Douglas won the Oscar for his part as Gordon Gekko, a man who sums up his time and ideology to a tee, and I am not sure Charlie Sheen will ever be as convincing as he is here.
On the whole, a damn good watch, with a little something for us all.
