Review of Wall Street (1987) by Thomas P — 27 Jun 2010
Wall Street is a slick, gripping movie that uses a little too much insider lingo. The movie is mostly coherent, but it seems almost too ambitious at times (perhaps appropriately considering its protagonist).
The film meanders, albeit enjoyably, until it finds its main narrative line, and that's when it gets really interesting on more levels. Michael Douglas is amazing, and I'm looking forward to seeing him reprise the role with another fantastic supporting cast later this year.
