Review of Wall Street (1987) by Kevin M — 26 Sep 2010
This movie gives a strong portrayal of the excessive attitude of the 80's. Michael Douglas' Gordon Gekko character is classic, as is his famous "Greed is Good" speech. I feel the strong white-collar values vs.
blue collar values really drive this story, moreso than most of the characters. Unlike Douglas, Charlie Sheen and Daryl Hannah didn't provide a revolutionary performance. Still, a good show with a great moral tale.
