Review of Wall Street (1987) by Simon R — 10 Jun 2010
This film is absolutely incredible! To enjoy this film you gotta love the money, you gotta love the stock market and above all you gotta love Wall Street. The film is about the enchant of the money and swindling the securities industry.
Stone give us a magic film on a silver platter. What gives the tone of the film is the incomparable performance of Douglas and Sheen, both are irreplaceable. You'll hang the film because you'll hang with the characters and yet you find yourself among the various personalities.
All the films revolve around an action indisputable, never seen a drama or a thriller deadly, but it's not like all such films. This film is unique and deals with an important subject in the world.
I highly look forward to the second and hopes that LeBoeuf will be up for Sheen and Douglas. A masterpiece but unfortunately not for everyone, but for the addicts of the world economic.
