Review of Wall Street (1987) by Thomas W — 27 Apr 2011
A great Oliver Stone movie from the 80's. Michael Douglas plays Gordon Gekko one of the most greediest men in Wall Street that will walk over anyone he needs to to get what he wants.
The film is about Bud Fox played by Charlie Sheen. Fox is starting out and meets Gekko. Fox begins working for him and gets into a very shady business of trading espionage and insider trading. Things get messy and Fox turns the tables on his mentor.
The movie is very well done. The story is really great with the theme of money doesn't solve problems it just creates more. Super well acted especially by Douglas. If you've never seen this film jump on it!
