Review of WALL·E (2008) by Richard T — 30 May 2013
I think Pixar are absolutely fabulous. However this is the weakest of their feature films so far. The main characters are difficult to relate to (don't tell me this is because they are robots - Disney did a fine job with Stitch!) and the whole story has a really dark undertone about how we have destroyed the planet and then gone on to become such huge sloths that wolking is a completely foreign action.
Still the kids loved it who am I to talk - it wasn't made for me.
