Review of WALL·E (2008) by Lewis E — 14 Jan 2014
"Wall-E!" "Eeevva" Waaall-E" "Eeevaaa". This makes up a lot of the dialogue that you gotta look forward to if you watch 'Wall-E'. This might be enough to entertain little kiddies but I like to think I'm past that stage now.
Way too lovey dovey, cheesey weesey and cringey mingey for my taste. The lack of concentration put in actual dialogue means the humour relies on childish visual gags with little creativity put into them.
What started off as an interesting premise quickly turned into a intergalactic game of kiss chase. No doubt the mere thought of robots falling in love is bound to melt some hearts and for those people this is perfect, but alas all I felt throughout was disappointment.
I expect better Disney Pixar.
