Review of WALL·E (2008) by Abc D — 08 May 2014
Wall-E is an amalgamation of overly cutesy puppy love so saccharine it will make you want to vomit and a ham-fisted anti-consumerist environmentalist message. At times it entertains, but I spent much of the movie irritated.
For all its praise, it is not a particularly well put-together movie: it seems built entirely off of the idea of using cute robots to put butts in seats.
