Review of WALL·E (2008) by Nelson P — 18 Jul 2014
My absolute favorite of all the Pixar film's to date; personal opinions aside, the film is absolute perfection and truly redefines complex animation and pure story telling in the best ways. Wall-E is a lone robot, tasked to clean up a forgotten Earth who, one day, meets the perfectly rounded EVE.
From here, he embarks on an adventure that shows us what it truly means to care for another while delivering a strong ECO-friendly message to the masses. For a film that can not only make you fall in love with a robot that solemnly speaks (but makes many other robotic noises), fear for the life of a funny little cockroach, and can also teach you something important about our own future, Wall-E is truly a marvel of animated wizardry.
Visually stunning, emotionally captivating, and absolutely fun from start to finish, it is nearly impossible not to fall in love with this film.
