Review of WALL·E (2008) by Samuel S — 05 Aug 2015
Wall-E is, without a doubt, one of my favorite animated films of all time. If not my favorite. This film accomplishes so much narrative and emotion, without the constant use of dialogue which I find amazing.
It is a film which teaches a great message, and one that is unique to that of animated films, without sacrificing a strong narrative pushing behind it. Pixar has proved time and time again that they are masters at what they do, and though they have had a few flukes, Wall-E is a perfect example of an animated film being just so well balanced with its humor, story, art, and everything of the sort.
The film is absolutely beautiful in every sense of the word and it really does make you feel. Wall-E is a very smart film and though it has jokes that may cater to a younger audience at times, children may not understand the bigger picture this film is trying to convey, and I like that.
It is a masterpiece.
