Review of WALL·E (2008) by Jamey D — 24 May 2016
Let's face it; this is one of the most beautiful, unique, and enjoyable films ever made, and one of the best I've ever seen. The character of WALL*E is incredibly endearing, and I loved his relationship with EVE. I do feel the first part with the two is the strongest part of the film, and I would be happy to have it just there. Where else are you going to have a romantic fireside chat where the fire is an inferno from the explosion of a stranded tanker?
This whole film harkens back to the days of silent films. There's barely any talking for the first half of the movie, and ironically, it works well.
This is one of the all-time classics.
