The first and last 10 minutes were good. The rest was a rehash of Robots, the Jetsons, Star Wars, and other space operas. The movie jumps the shark the moment when the dialog starts and we see the unwelcome preachy societal commentary that has nothing to do with the 'love' story.
I rushed home and watched Ratatouille, relieved that Wall-E was at least preceded by some truly outstanding Pixar films. This one has nowhere near the multilevel appeal of the others.
