This was a pleasure for The Rock's fans, and a pain to everyone else. Unfortunately I was a part of the latter. The script was as linear as they come. Anyone excited by a vigilante story might be impressed, but the plot was just all too predictable.
You can tell all of the emphasis was centralized around The Rock's fight scenes. There were no powerful morals or messages behind this story, no complex character motives or amazing plot twists. The little love arc was as typical as they come as well.
This movie was just loaded with cliches.
