Should you just keep walking, or sit down and enjoy?

Okay, so in spite of myself, I actually enjoyed this movie. Considering that it's action/drama with The Rock, and Johnny Knoxville (oh how I hate these two), it's not as bad as I thought.

The Story: Chris Vaughn has been away from home and in the military for quite some time, and when he comes back, it's not what he remembered or expected. The town is full of crooked cops, and a drug dealing casino. Becomming the new sherrif and firing every cop in town, he takes the law into his own hands, as he takes on the drug lord. Told with some great action, a little bit of humor, and sex appeal...Why does everything have to have so much fricken sex appeal!?!?! I mean really, this would have been just as good without the strippers, and the woman running around with no shirt and a gun...It's target audience is fairly obvious.

The Cast: The Rock, Johnny Knoxville. I wish I could say that The Rock is dumb as a rock, and that Johnny Knoxville should be knocked senseless for subjecting us to such garbage...But the fact of the matter is, that these two are actually pretty good here. While not the greatest acting in the world they're far better than some of the other action people out there. To be perfectly honest I'd prefer The Rock to Vin Diesel...He plays the part good, and actually does do a pretty decent job here, ranging from average to slightly above average. As for Johnny Knoxville, I'm not a fan of his, and this film didn't make me a fan of his either. I wasn't too impressed, but I certainly wasn't unimpressed by his performance. These two together really manage to pull this off.

One to Five Scale: 3.

A surprisingly good movie. Give this one a rental it's worth at least that. It's decent story and semi-interesting characters make it worth your time.
