Review of Walking Tall (2004) by Ducknation — 24 May 2014
Walking Tall is an average movie with decent action nothing more and is a step back from its 1973 original. I do like Dwayne Johnson and this was only his 3rd movie since making the switch from being a professional wrestler to actor so you can tell he is still not that great of an actor but seeing that its a action flick it plays to his strengths also back then he was still known as "The Rock" as you can see from the poster. The film also stars Johnny Knoxville I really like him so it was good seeing him in this because i've never really seen him in anything before this other then "Jackass and Men in Black II". In this movie he plays basically the same character that he was in the film "The Last Stand" another average action flick. For the most part those two and the action make this movie watchable but really everything else sucks and not somthing id recommend to people watching unless they like the actors.
Overall I give it a 5.5 oh yeah Cobie Smulders is in this movie I didnt know that until I watched it this time she has a very small part but its was cool seeing her in this its the first movie she was in.
