Review of Walking and Talking (1996) by Christine S — 04 Jun 2013
I can sorta see how this could be a cult classic--but at this time it doesn't seem to have aged well. Catherine Keener is wonderful and neurotic, and Anne Heche is...alright. I liked Liev Schreiber as the goofy Andrew.
The plot is predictable--as far as the relationship between the two female leads go. I liked the alternating, crazed nature of Amelia's (Catherine Keener) romantic attractions. The story is pleasant enough, though not ground-breaking.
Not a memorable film, but not a horrible one, neither.
