Review of Walkabout (1971) by Jacob H — 10 Jun 2008
I was disappointed with this film, it seems to draw upon the noble savage motif, which was surely tired by the 1970s when this film was made and is certainly tired now. There are times when this movie feels totally disoriented I simply don't know where Roeg is going with this picture.
The one thing I will say favorable about this film is that camera is used very well in this largely dialog-less movie.
