Review of Walkabout (1971) by Jack G — 23 Apr 2009
Has one of the most disturbing beginnings to any movie ever, and then the rest of the movie actually is kind of mellow - in a good way. Roeg has one of the most unnaturally natural eyes in cinema, and while this isn't his very best (I'd give that up to Bad Timing) this is still near the top of the crop.
