Review of Walkabout (1971) by John M — 23 Mar 2010
A masterpiece! The odyessy a girl and her brother take with the aid of an Aborigine is much more than you might believe. It suggests that we all develop specific skills and talents in response to our environment, but cannot easily function across a broader range.
Also it shows the way we communicate to others can trap our true feelings.
