Review of Walkabout (1971) by Tina C — 10 Oct 2010

I'm just stunned that this movie was made. A lot of this stuff would be illegal today. Themes like sexuality and underage nudity, along with the killing and eating of animals are prelevent in this film.

I liked it best when it stayed with the three children in the beautiful wilderness, and when it deviated from that it lost me a little bit. What is kind of frustrating about this story is that it never really explains why their father abandons them in the way that he does.

But overall it's a good artsy 70's flick.
