Review of Walkabout (1971) by Jonathan B — 13 Jan 2017
A beautiful film in which the Australian wilderness is as much a character as any of the actors. Breathtaking, poignant and insightful. Drags a bit at times due to the absence of dialogue throughout much of the film, but well worth seeing for both the contrast of civilization against wilderness and European against native cultures.
