Review of Walk the Line (2005) by Quinn B — 06 May 2011
The story of Johnny Cash.....
This is definitely my favourite movie about a musician. Joaquin Phoenix did a tremendous job. One of the best performance I have seen by an actor. Reese Witherspoon was also amazing, and gave one of my favourite performances by an actress. To me this movie really cannot be flawed. The acting was superb, the story was of course amazing, and the soundtrack was obviously awesome. The soundtrack is probably my favourite in a movie, and the characters were also just perfectly played.
Walk The Line is the story of the infamous Johnny Cash. It shows everything from when he was a child, to his rise of fame.
Now this has to be Joaquin Phoenix's best acting performance ever. He played his role so good, he made you feel for what his character was going through. There were definitely some emotional parts, and some upsetting parts as well. But one thing is for sure when he performed in the movie, it was awesome!
Walk The Line is one of my favourite movies of all time, and definitely in my Top 20, if not in my Top 10.
