Review of Walk the Line (2005) by Trevor G — 23 Oct 2012
Walk the line was an outstanding movie starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon as Johnny Cash and June Carter. It is a chronicle of country music legend Johnny Cash's life, from his early days on an Arkansas cotton farm to his rise to fame with Sun Records in Memphis, where he recorded with popular artists of his time and where he met his future wife June Carter.
This biographical drama film also shows Johnny's psychological past and his drug use throughout the film. Overall, I thought this was an interesting story of Johnny Cash's life and it was an excellent movie.
I give it two thumbs up and 8 out of 10 rating.
