Joaquin Phoenix should have won the Oscar over Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I am not a country music lover but Joaquin becomes Johnny Cash. What I loved most about the film is how it showed the inspiration for the songs he and June wrote.
Wonderful performances all around - Robert Patrick is a great foil to Joaquin.
