Review of Walk the Line (2005) by Jesse G — 07 Jun 2013
I'd only known so little about Johnny Cash's life that it didn't really formulate any issue that I should have with regards to the film overall. But I do know he sang in a low bass/baritone voice which Phoenix portrayed very much so-so.
And knowing Hollywood all too well, having this propensity to garnish almost every biopic they could touch, I've steadily grown accustomed to it. It's all about the film anyways despite how much of the information is erroneous.
But having said all that, I thought the film was really great and Reese Witherspoon was just FANTASTIC!
