Review of Walk the Line (2005) by Serena M — 03 May 2014
An excellent film, this is a rare one in which both male and female leads deserve oscars. Pheonix as Johnny Cash is one of the best portrayals in recent history, while Witherspoon as June Carter really nails both voice and spirit.
It's good whether your a fan of the man in black or not, with some great scenes (the performance at Folson being my favourite) and in general it's just a brilliant, occasionally downbeat but always alive film.
