Review of Walk the Line (2005) by Captains. — 28 Mar 2006
Not a great movie, but on the other hand, not a bad movie. Honestly I wasn't that interested in Johnny Cash's life, but one can't help but get caught up in the wonderful ups and terrible downs in this film.
Amazing at all the talent that came through Memphis TN and Sun Records back in the 1950s...astounding. That being said, when I see a movie about particular people, I like the actors in the movie to "look" like those particular people.
Sorry...just the way I am, I suppose. Rivers doesn't look anything like Cash (nor sound like him) and Witherspoon doesn't look anything like June Carter Cash (Thanks goodness). Other than that, a decent movie.
