Review of Walk on Water (2004) by Chris S — 25 Sep 2008
The scene where Axel attempts to walk on water just like Jesus did is beautiful and well-done, and the scene where he and Pia sing Cinderella Rockafella is quite awkward yet hilarious. This is quite a simple film about racial prejudice and homophobia with an ordinary and uneventful plot.
Director Eytan Fox shows that he could do better in his next film, The Bubble.
