Walk Hard got me to laugh, but they weren't big laughs. It was more like "ahhh, that's kind of funny." I usually like Apatow's efforts, but his writing co-credits on this film don't do his catalogue justice.
Many of the gags seem shoehorned into the genre parody and just don't do the job well enough over the course of the film to warrant anything more than a "meh" and a justifiably middle of the road rating.
