Review of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) by Jayden C — 05 May 2010
This is very hit and miss. But unlike most comedies of this day and age, there are funny moments to be had. I laughed very hard at some moments. This movie is mainly a parody of Walk the Line (which I love).
It could've been deeper I suppose but that would take away the comedic, satirical elements. When the jokes don't work, they are just as lame as any other mainstream comedy out there. Thanks to Judd Apatow there are a few penis shots (if you're into that kind of thing).
Yeah, pleasant film.
