The movie itself is a brilliant send-off for Oscar-bait Music Bio-Pics, but the real pleasure is the soundtrack.
The songs bounce from hilarious to musically brilliant with such ease that you'll wonder why it hasn't outsold the almost-as-good "O Brother, Where Art Thou" already.
