Review of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) by Alicia G — 24 Apr 2012
A non-stop marathon of gags with as many hits as it has misses. What makes this better than most parodies is a legitimate sense of what it's making fun of. Walk Hard is at it's funniest when it's simply exaggerating the cliches of musician biopics, and the whole thing is meant to show that these films have lumped all musical legends into the same person it would seem.
Not a lot of people seemed to get this really obvious, yet clever joke, and therefore, it's underrated.
