Review of Waking Sleeping Beauty (2009) by Alain G — 09 Jan 2011
In MHO, this movie is an interesting prequel to an eventual much more interesting documentary about Pixar. That movie hasdn't been made yet, but together that (eventual) movie and this '84 to '94 snapshot of the Disney era that allowed for Pixar would be a much more complete story.
The underdog in this story is Pixar and there simply isn't enough of their story in here to make me care enough about any of it. Not a bad snapshot, but not enough story to make it a compelling movie.
