Like most things that have to do with philosophy i'm really fascinated at first then I get really bored and my mind starts to wonder. But I can't deny the visual look of Waking Life. I don't think for a second Linklater is trying to be sensationalistic by using animation.
It really feels like you're viewing a dream, everything is floaty and certain things are dramatized. Worth it alone for the way it looks and the sheer originality.
